My story…

I have believed in God forever, but only have been a Christian for 5 years. That’s when I lost my business and all my savings and went in search of answers. Finding faith, trust, renewed self confidence, success, and prosperity has been some journey, which, of course, continues. I have found that the secret to making money and having success at any venture is both simple and complex. The answer is simple, the execution can be complex.

As a “toddler” Christian, I sometimes struggled with God’s blessings (or apparent lack thereof). Even though I have learned some amazing lessons, I still get mad at God sometimes, like the toddler I am. “…I want what I want NOW! Why can’t I have that? Are you punishing me? If I (read the Bible more, pray more, suffer more, etc.) will you give me what I want? Waaaa!”

Kicking, screaming, threatening, whining, begging, bargaining — you name it, I’ve tried it.

But, thank God, I have never failed to come back to Him, to “forgive” him. (I actually needed to forgive myself) and, to study on. I learned that God is NOT a cosmic Santa Claus. We are not “entitled” to all our prayers being answered just because we prayed in Jesus’ name.

So, what the heck does that have to do with making money? And, especially, with Cash Gifting?

The road to making money, especially on the Internet, is a journey, for sure. Cash gifting is MY journey on the road to making money on the Internet (and that of hundreds of other Christians, as well). I have had many false starts on various Internet “making money” journeys. (Can you say, ‘learning experience?’?) The fact that I have found that which I was seeking is a testimony to enduring faith. Cash gifting has been the answer to my prayers by way of my perseverance and determination to make money on the Internet.

First, Though, What is Cash Gifting and Why Should You Care?

• NO MLM! Building a “down line” has been my Armageddon more than once

• Cash Gifting is truly a GIFT to people who have a giving heart for others; it’s the Biblical principle of when you give from your heart without expectations, you get back manyfold (more on that in a minute)
• NO products to try to talk people into when a thousand other people have a similar “product”

• The gist of Cash Gifting is this — you join a private membership and make a money gift to your inviter; you then are plugged into the system and can receive money gifts from others.

You also may be thinking, “Greedy people do this! God would not bless such a thing.” I wondered about that early on and checked into it.

What About the Faith Element?

God absolutely wants us to have abundance, and we have to find that for ourselves, in our own ways (no cosmic Santa Claus!). Abundance isn’t just about having money, though. And, it’s about never losing sight of the source of all abundance. In the Bible, Job was very prosperous and faithful. God allowed him to be tested in the worst way imaginable. He never abandoned his faith, and God made him prosperous again. We ALL are blessed in ways large or small — be always grateful for what you DO have, and you will be blessed with more according to your diligence and efforts.

So, money is NOT the root of all evil — money is 100% neutral. Therefore, the Cash Gifting opportunity is ethical based on the good intentions of the gifter. How serious are you about making money or working from home? Do you have a dream that excites your passions? One that you are seriously willing to put some effort into achieving? Or are you just a dreamer, hoping money will drop from the sky somehow (the infamous “tire kicker”)?

BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF! It will be far more difficult for you to succeed at an online money opportunity such as Cash Gifting if you don’t REALLY want to. You will get discouraged, lose your excitement, and lose faith that YOU can do it even if others do it all the time. Like I said, 97% of us fall into this category.

So, the secret, as much as there is a secret, is to have a true PASSION for something that you want badly enough to work for it — whether it’s money to have a better lifestyle for your family, to be able to tithe thousands to your church, to help starving children — whatever. Making Money: At the End of the Day Have You Helped Someone Else?

Have a Purpose Driven Life

What is this crazy, stressful, painful, sometimes wonderful life REALLY about?

Making money? Having the biggest house, nicest car or the most toys? Winning? Crushing the competition? Helping a friend, family member or total stranger fix a problem?

Which of those gives you joy? When you’re on your death bed, what memories will you cherish? When you face God, what will you have to show for your life? (I’m pretty sure that “stuff” is nowhere on the list.)

Let’s face it — having money definitely gives us joy, but only because of what we can do with it. Money can give us peace of mind and some freedom from stress. Having “toys” gives us renewal from our daily stresses, but sometimes can be a source of false “pride” and ego. “Winning” suggests someone else has lost. Helping others ALWAYS is a source of satisfaction and joy.

Our fast-paced lives have gotten away from “purpose.”

Our desire seems to mostly boil down to “I need to make more money.” But, MONEY, in and of itself, is not the primary motivator for most people.

Example: I lost my business a few years ago along with most of my life savings. I NEEDED MONEY. But, that need was not sufficient motivation to enable me to do what I had to do in order to be successful in the outside sales job I took (because that’s where you can make good money, at least in the “job” world). Money, alone, couldn’t make me go that far outside my comfort zone.

So, identify your REAL priorities. What will help you identify your goals and assign more purpose to attaining them? What goal can you focus on that will energize you enough to do the work and have the patience to achieve it?

Food for thought (from “The Master Key System”): You GET what you think about most. And what do we usually think about most? What we don’t have.

I have written about it before — stinkin’ thinkin’.  It BURIES us in our efforts to make excellent money, have positive relationships, get the things we want in life, etc.

Wish you were here....

Okay, time to get serious about your Internet marketing and your online business (not to mention your life). There IS a way to make these things come easy to you. You just have to do some preparation work and set it up.

The SECRET is to gain control over your thoughts. Yep, that’s what I said!  Your thoughts have immense power!

Haven’t you ever noticed how what you’re thinking affects your mood? And, how sometimes you can’t stop yourself from thinking about something BAD (or good, too) that recently happened? Thoughts pack a lot of influence over your success or failure in ANY endeavor!  Make no mistake, people like Robert Kiyosaki, Zig Ziegler, Tony Robbins and other millionaire gurus are really just teaching these principles – mind control.

How Do We Get Off on the Wrong Track?

We all fight messages that start appearing in our conscious minds at an early age because of fear and insecurity. It seems to be a natural thing for children to think they are different, inferior, bad, stupid, etc. (How pitiful is that?)

So, when something negative happens to you, does it feed off of old messages lurking in your head? Such as, “these things always happens to ME,” or “I don’t deserve any better,” or “I can never have what I really want.” Can one little thing ruin your whole day, or WEEK because you can’t let it go?

Welcome to the Mind out of control club!

Well, get over it. Really, you can get over it and create the conditions that will enable you to practice positive thinking virtually all the time. Then, you can start to manifest things that you want to have in your life. It is sometimes called The Law of Attraction, but there is a “system” that goes beyond that. If you dedicate some time each day (and don’t give up!), you will fairly quickly start seeing changes come into your life.

Striving for “Ease”

Think about something you can do with ease. Something you have done so many times that its execution comes naturally, without thought. Whether it’s a sport, typing, your job, playing the piano, riding a bicycle –

things you do with ease depend for their skilled execution on the processes of the subconscious mind.

The marvel of playing the piano while at the same time engaging in a vigorous conversation shows the greatness of our subconscious powers.

Ease and perfection depend entirely upon the degree to which we stop depending on conscious thought.

The conscious mind can direct the subconscious mind, which is the source of our power. In this way the conscious mind becomes the responsible ruler and guardian of the subconscious mind.

It is this conscious direction of your subconscious processes that can completely reverse conditions in your life.

It is so often true that lack of confidence, fear, worry, poverty, disease, and evils of all kinds dominate us by reason of false suggestions accepted by the unguarded subconscious mind. The trained conscious mind can entirely prevent this by its protective action. It is, in fact, “the gatekeeper” of the powerful subconscious domain.

How can such change happen?

The conscious mind needs to be on duty constantly when you are awake. When the “gate keeper” is off guard, or if its calm, rational judgment is lost because of some emotional challenge, then the subconscious mind is left open to wrong suggestions from external sources. In other words, we are allowing other people or circumstances to dictate our thinking. In our business or financial efforts, that translates to, “I don’t deserve to be rich,” “I am stupid,” “If I ask people to do this business they will REJECT me,” or “My family/friends will hate me if I make a lot of money and they don’t.”

Anything sound familiar here?

During any time of unrestrained emotion, conditions are ripe for this to happen. The subconscious mind is open to the suggestion of fear, hatred, selfishness, greed, self-depreciation and other negative forces, courtesy of other people or circumstances.

Are you going to let others run your life and determine what your dreams and potential are?

If your subconscious self has accepted negative suggestions, the sure-fire method of reversing them is through the use of a strong counter suggestion, frequently repeated, which the mind must accept. Eventually, this practice will bring new and healthy habits of thought. The subconscious mind is the seat of our habits, both positive and negative.

You have heard it said that we are our own worst enemy, right? It’s true, of course. Our old messages can be erased the same way they got there – by replacing them with positive messages. The awesome thing is,

you don’t even have to BELIEVE the new positive message because your subconscious mind can’t distinguish between what your conscious mind believes and what you are TELLING it to believe. How cool is that?

Really, you GOTTA check this out. I know it’s a stretch for some people to begin with; seems a little bit like hokus pokus! And, if you are Christian, trust me that I and others have checked it out. To access the power that God has given us is (in my opinion) a DUTY as well as a true blessing.

To Market Effectively, Sell YOURSELF

YOU are the key to unlocking Internet treasure

Success is about having what people really want. They want help, and they want to know they can trust you.

I’m going to share some basic secrets that I don’t see anybody else talking about (at least not for free) about how really to make money on the Internet. These are the things that actually WORK when it comes to marketing without spending a lot of money.

This little slice of brilliance isn’t exactly new, but it sure continues to be overlooked by almost everyone. The reason, I believe, is because it requires learning new skills and changing the way we want to make money – by throwing mud at the wall. But, the prevailing wisdom in how to make money in any endeavor — has always been and still is this –

You are not selling a product or service; you are selling YOURSELF.

Huh?

Simple. People want to know, like and trust you before they hand over their hard-earned money and make a huge emotional commitment! Don’t you feel the same way?

But, what do millions of people actually do in their Internet marketing? They wham-bam-spam each other with ads and emails about how much money you can make (97% don’t), how much money they make (how is that relevant?), how different their opportunity is (NOT!) – It’s laughable! Why is it laughable? Because…

They don’t want to send you money; they want YOU to send them money. Then, they will make LOTS of money! They win, you lose (usually).

Mentors and Training; Training and Mentors

Two quick points about mentors and training; that which we think we will get plenty of when we sign up for something –

1. Who mentors you and the training they can give you are all that separate 95% of the biz ops!

2. Good mentor or bad, if you don’t take responsibility for your own success, you may well fail.

I would wager that most of the 3% of people who actually succeed and make money in their Internet opportunity do it largely on their own! They do not get the help they expected by the person or system they put their trust in. They succeed because they have the need to succeed, or the will.

Even good mentors can’t help everyone. We all have individual strengths and weaknesses, and we may or may not be able to pull off how someone else is able to make money.

So, interview prospective mentors very seriously, be realistic and plan to figure out how to make money.

Okay, back to how to sell your product – YOU.

Do you believe that Green Giant Peas taste better and are worth more than Sally-Jo’s Bathtub Grown Peas? Yes, you say? The reason is because they created value in their brand .

Branding just means people choose YOU (and, at the same time, your opportunity) because of how they feel about partnering with you. It doesn’t matter whether you are the ‘kindly Uncle Tom’ type or ‘dynamic Ms. Trump’ type, something about you clicks with them. They are putting their trust in who you are, not what you do.

So, get used to the idea: You have to make yourself available for people to get to know you. You have to become You, Inc.

How do you do that?

Simple — stop SELLLLLLING and start being a person people can connect to in some way. I see it here and everywhere a lot — “Hey, Linda — check out my website.”

Hey, whateveryournameis, I’m not that kind of girl. I don’t know you from the proverbial hole in the ground.

Try this, instead…

Identify groups you have things in common with. They’re all on the Internet. Groups such as: your favorite music or hobby, diabetics, moms, bowlers, golfers, health nuts, etc. These are people you should start to hang out and bond with on social networks and forums.

Your only goal is to be a friend and, thereby, arouse some interest and lead people who are curious to your website.

Reach into people’s hearts, not their pocket books.

What NOT TO DO (please)!

DO NOT make the mistake 97% of other marketers do and just go to the networking sites and wham-spam your opportunity in everyone’s face. THEY DON’T CARE; they don’t know you. And, you’ll probably get thrown out of the community. Even if you’re not thrown out right away you will develop a BAD reputation that will be hard to overcome.

Don’t Duplicate What Doesn’t Work

You hear it everywhere, “just do what I do and you will make money.” It just doesn’t work that way on the Internet. I’ll be so bold as to say it often is a LIE. Internet marketing has, and continues to be, a moving target. Be a student!

How to Make Money Online–7½ Simple but HUGE Keys

Ahhh, MONEY. Who doesn’t want more MONEY? Having LOTS of money is a GIFT; one that eludes many Internet crusaders.

Millions of people are trying to make money online – and failing. The KEYS to making money on the Internet are simpler than you think! You need to WANT IT! Simple as that. (And you do NOT need all the gunk that people sell, but that’s another article.)

Here are those keys, in all their money making glory:

1. Making money online is 97% about YOU.

“97” is the percentage of people who FAIL at online businesses, and this article is largely to help you move into the 3%.

SO many people join online make money opportunities because they are promised by some greedy “mentor” they don’t have to do much. ‘Scuse me, but that’s DUMB.

There’s NO FREE RIDE. No worky, no make money!

Your journey to success in make money online is just that. Plan to be a How to Make Money student for a while. Make it your JOB to learn the skills you need. Stick with it and receive your MMM degree (Master of Making Money). It is SO WORTH IT.

2. Have a Dream

You must WANT something enough to work towards having it. Money can buy a better life, a college fund, time freedom, etc. The number 1 reason people fall into that 97% is they lack sufficient motivation.

Guess what. People facing foreclosure, bankruptcy, etc., are always in that 3%; they have the motivation to work and make money NOW. YOU must have a dream that excites your passion! You can have anything if you want it badly enough!

3. Build relationships

Do you do business with people you do not know, like and trust? Neither does anyone else! Making money on the Internet requires that you invest the time into building relationships. Get on the social networks. Stay in touch with everyone who visits your website.

My mentor (Mike), a big deal in Cash Gifting, tells a story about a prospect (“Joe”) he met early in his Cash Gifting endeavors. Joe wouldn’t take action; but Mike called him every 3-4 months. Joe joined Cash Gifting under Mike a YEAR later. He wanted see if Mike and Cash Gifting were going to stick around and become successful. (Mike has pulled in more than a Million in 15 months through Cash Gifting. Joe was impressed!)

4. Be Honest

Don’t BS people or exaggerate. People sense it! Choose a make money opportunity you believe in passionately!

And, you don’t want people joining your opportunity who will suck you dry wanting that ‘magic bullet’ to quick success that doesn’t exist. So, for your own sake, qualify people through honest disclosure.

5. Have Mentor Mentality

People need help getting started, and they have a right to KNOW they will receive real help – according to their budget and their abilities.

A knowledgeable, caring mentor is crucial to your success. You need to have one, and then you need to BE one.

6. Learn Leadership

This is one of the main reasons why getting started is so hard compared to increasing your success rate after you’ve gotten started. You lack real confidence that your make money opportunity will work. So, on a Leadership scale of 1-5, you are a 1 or 2, and you’ll have difficulty attracting people.

You attract people who are below you on the scale. These are the people who are hardest to help get going. It compounds the getting-started blues.

The answer to this dilemma is training. When YOU KNOW it’s possible and even probable (with the right tools) to make money, you will rise quickly on the Leadership Scale. A good mentor will help you with your first few prospects. They (your mentor) are TOPS on the Leadership Scale.

(A TEAM of mentors is awesome! Different mentors have different strengths to bring to the table. Ask about this within your mentor group, and develop your own team to be good mentors.)

7. Earn People’s Trust

Trust is the thing that actually can explode your make money opportunity.

· Trust is the confidence your prospect must have that you and your opportunity will be the foundation of their success to make money on the Internet.

· Before any prospect even SEES your website, there is an underlying distrust. You are selling something, and people don’t trust salespeople. And, more than likely, they’ve been snookered before.

· Building trust is EASY.

1. We already talked about honesty. Your website should attract people who want to talk to you; after that, just be yourself. Don’t SELL, TELL. (Get your mentor to help!)

2. Be enthusiastic, but don’t Hype

3. Talk to people. Asking questions shows interest. What do they want? Maybe it’s not what you have. That’s ok!

4. Use real testimonials on your website. Get permission from people you have helped to share their email address with prospects who need assurances. VERY credible!

7½. Be Other focused – the 1/2 Key to success in making money on the Internet

Ok, it’s just advice. Don’t be SELFISH! Sure, when you’re first starting out you have a burning need to make money yourself that you are focused on. But, to be successful, you have to care about others becoming successful, too. Otherwise, your true colors will shine through.
